One Climate

One Climate connects people around the world, both from the Global North and the Global South, in joint action to fight climate change and poverty. Together, we are striving to achieve climate neutrality and to eradicate energy poverty amongst the members of our cooperative, by 2035. Consequently, members of the cooperative contribute 1% of their income annually. These common funds are shared fairly among partners from the Global North and South, and invested in sustainable energy within the respective countries. United in solidarity, we are fighting climate change side by side, to save and preserve our planet for future generations.

WHY JOIN?
1 Climate Community: We achieve net zero emissions and zero energy poverty, by investing together; we will give 1% of our incomes to renewable energy and energy-efficiency projects by 2035.
 

How it all works

 
1% of the world's annual economic output is sufficient. By investing that amount in renewable energy, climate change can be stopped.
